Gaia Bliss Balls
Easy to make, delicious, loved by all and packed with nutrients. What more could you want from a treat?
Some of the nutritional benefits include; protein, calcium, iron, EFA's, magnesium, zinc, B group vitamins and fibre.
2 cups chopped dates
1 cup chopped dried figs
1 cup chopped dried raisins
1 cup ground or chopped sunflower seeds
1 cup ground or chopped cashews, almonds or nut of choice
1/2 cup chopped or ground flax seeds
2 tablespoons raw cacao powder (optional)
3 tablespoons coconut oil (optional although necessary if adding cacao powder)
Coconut flakes and/or sesame seeds to roll in
Place all ingredients in a food processor or mixing bowl and combine until mixture is sticky and ingredients are evenly mixed. Roll into slightly larger than bite size balls. Roll balls in the coconut flakes or sesame seeds. Store covered in the regrigerator or freezer.
